Beth Loxley

CEO & Founder, Enrolled Agent

Beth is the President and Founder of E.A. Loxley & Associates. For twenty-five years, Beth has provided services to small businesses in the Cleveland and Akron metropolitan areas and beyond, advising them on tax compliance and planning, and business development.

She primarily provides tax research, planning, financial reporting and compliance services to small businesses and their principals. Additionally, she has extensive experience with QuickBooks applications and customization and new business formations. Her industry specializations include retail, consulting and professional service companies.

Beth is a member of several professional organizations including the Hudson and Stow Chambers of Commerce, the National Society of Accountants, the National Association of Tax Professionals and the National Association for Female Executives. She is a graduate of John Carroll University.


Accounting Manager

Melissa joined E.A. Loxley & Associates in 2019 in the role of Bookkeeper, assisting clients with QuickBooks and financial reporting. She also serves as the Director of Education for the Open Compliance & Ethics Group (OCEG), a nonprofit think tank educating governance, risk and compliance professionals in all areas of GRC principles and issues. She is the previous Executive Director of GRC Certify, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the knowledge and credentials of professionals responsible for integrating corporate governance, risk management, internal control and compliance activities inside organizations of all sizes and types. Prior to serving with OCEG and GRC Certify, Melissa worked in the banking industry as an Internal Audit and Consulting Manager with BancOne Corporation, and as a Certified Public Accountant in the Commercial Audit Group of Arthur Andersen & Co and Arnett and Foster, CPAs.


Business Development Manager

Nick joined E.A. Loxley & Associates in 2021 as the Business Development Manager. Nick’s prior experience includes working in various industries including security, information technology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and manufacturing. His successful track record includes consulting opportunities ranging from 200 facility hospitals to small businesses throughout the United States.

Throughout his career, his primary functions have included financial analysis, process improvement, and increasing efficiency within a business. His approach includes evaluating a current state analysis to propel your business forward.

Nick has a Masters in Business Administration and is certified in Lean Six Sigma principles and revenue generation within various industries.


Office Manager

Rachel became the Office Manager for E. A. Loxley in 2020 and is the friendly face behind the reception desk and phone. Rachel brings many years of professional office experience to the team. She provides vital administrative support to ensure office efficiency and organization. Often wearing multiple hats, Rachel enjoys the customer service aspect of her role the most as she gets to interact with our clients. Originally from the Toledo area, Rachel and her husband now live in Cuyahoga Falls. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the various local parks, testing out different restaurants, and baking.
